Film photography from my May 12 - 19 2015 visit to New Orleans. Some images are a pure film image, others are photo illustrations with some modest Lightroom enhancements. I shot two 35mm rolls and two 120 film rolls. I like a lot of the photos from this trip. But these photographs stayed with me for one reason or another.
All photos were shot hand-held with a Nikon FE2 and 50mm lens, using ISO 200 Agfa and ISO 400 FujiPro color negative film. No flash. You can also view my Holga toy camera shots around New Orleans.
My priority was to have fun, drink, eat, converse, and listen to great music. New Orleans is a sensual place, and I thought should be experienced that way, photos included.
Many thanks to the city and everyone I met along the way. Among the siren song of Bourbon St., the street hustlers, and the friendly people I met around town it's a fantastic place to be a solo allocentric traveler.
